KH-ZNJ Tackifier for concrete

    Tackifier for concrete  KH-ZNJ also known as Concrete Water Retention Agent or Viscosity Regulator, can increase the viscosity of aqueous solutions in concrete. By restricting free water in the cement paste, the gaps between cement particles are maintained, reducing frictional resistance between particles and enabling easy deformation of the mixture. As viscosity increases, cohesiveness improves correspondingly, enhancing the workability of concrete. Suitable for various construction concretes and mortars, this product functions as a reinforcing, thickening, viscosity-increasing, and water-retention agent. It is a colorless and transparent liquid that readily dissolves in both cold and hot water to form a transparent viscous solution, offering numerous advantages not found in ordinary natural or synthetic adhesives. For formulations requiring other ingredients, first mix the auxiliary materials with the aqueous thickener, then add the mixture in batches under stirring conditions for rapid dissolution.

Product Features

    Controllable thixotropic performance, high plastic viscosity, and low yield stress. Enhances concrete cohesion by increasing the bridging effect between cementitious materials and aggregates, preventing concrete segregation and bottom grabbing. Particularly suitable for machine-made sand with angular particles and discontinuous particle size distribution, which typically causes poor concrete fluidity and hinders pumping.

    Reduces concrete water demand and sensitivity to admixture dosage, facilitating easier on-site production control. Especially applicable to concrete with low cementitious material content, effectively inhibiting concrete bleeding without affecting its slump retention.

    When compounded with high-range water reducers, it better meets the workability requirements of concrete mixtures and ensures the final performance of hardened concrete.

Extremely low alkali content and chloride-free, non-corrosive to steel reinforcement, and improves concrete durability.
