Wuhan Yangtze River Tunnel, located in the middle of the Yangtze River, the difference between the water surface and the bottom of the tunnel is 60 meters, and the water depth is 1.6 times that of the Huangpu River Tunnel in Shanghai, which is subject to greater static pressure of water and soil, coupled with the abundance of groundwater, and the resistance to seepage is to be up to P12, which is higher than that of P10 of the Huangpu River Tunnel.
Strategic partner Wuhan University of Science and Technology, together with Wuhan Municipal Group, Wuhan Urban Investment Company and China Tunnel Group, completed the research on the topic of "High impermeability and long-life large-diameter tunnel tubesheet material and structure design and engineering application", and put forward the design method of gradient functional layer for shield tubesheet, which makes the outer 2 cm of the 5-cm protective layer into a new technology of impermeable layer, improving the impermeability level of tubesheet. The impermeable layer is made of 2 cm outside the 5 cm protective layer, which improves the impermeability grade of the pipe sheet. Adding the developed high-efficiency water reducing agent into concrete can significantly improve the mechanical properties and durability of concrete and ensure the quality of the project.
