Wuhan Erqi Yangtze River Bridge starts from the north at the Wutie New Riverbank District in Jiangan District, and ends at the south at Luojiagang of Gangdu Garden in Qingshan District, which is the node project of the Second Ring Road of the city Wuhan, and is the world's largest span of the three-tower cable-stayed bridge and the world's largest span of the combined girder cable-stayed bridge. The total length is about 6.5 kilometers, including the main project of Erqi Yangtze River Bridge 2,922 meters and 3,585 meters of the two sides of the dredging supporting projects. The project design base period is 100 years, for the city expressway, the design traffic speed is 80km/h, two-way 8 lanes, the bridge deck width is 29.5 meters, the effective width of the main bridge is 28 meters. Bridge clearance height of 24 meters, the design of the highest navigable water level of 25.81 meters, the project is expected to total investment of about 4.8 billion yuan. Planned construction period of 4 years, the construction began on August 1, 2008, in December 31, 2011 was completed and opened to traffic.
