Wuhan Yangtze River Tunnel Segment

Wuhan Yangtze River Tunnel is located between Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge and Wuhan Yangtze River Second Bridge. It is the first river-crossing tunnel on the Yangtze River in Wanli, also known as the "First Tunnel of the Yangtze River in Wanli". The tunnel starts at the level crossing of Mingxin Street, Dazhi Road, Hankou, and ends at the east side of Wuchang Youyi Avenue. It connects with the planned Shahu Road. At the end of Hankou, there is a tunnel ramp on Shengli Street and a tunnel ramp on Tianjin Road, at the end of Wuchang. There are two right-on ramps and two right-off ramps in the north-south direction of Youyi Avenue. The total length of the tunnel is 3630 meters, divided into two tunnels on the left and right. The east tunnel is 3295 meters long, and the west tunnel is 3303.6 meters long. Each line has 2 lanes, 7 meters wide, and 4.5 meters clear lane height. Design speed 50 km/h. Construction of Wuhan Yangtze River Tunnel started on November 28, 2004. Opened in March 2006
