On June 8, 2022, the China Building Materials Federation issued Announcement No. 12 of 2022, which officially released two association standards, T/CBMF 186-2022 "Starch based Water Reducing Agent" and T/CBMF 187-2022 "Solid Polycarboxylic Acid based High Performance Water Reducing Agent", which were prepared by China Academy of Building Materials Science and other units. They would be officially implemented on September 8, 2022.

After two years of preparation, Solid Polycarboxylic Acid High Performance Water Reducing Agent has received widespread attention in the industry. Wuhan Tapai Huaxuan New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., as one of the main drafting units of this standard, actively participated in the discussion, formulation and other related work of the standard from the beginning of its drafting. At the same time, the company has launched a series of powder polycarboxylate water reducing agents since 2020, which have undergone continuous research and development, improvement, and technological upgrades. Currently, the products have entered a mature application stage, and the overall performance and quality stability of the products have received widespread praise from customers.

This standard provides relevant definitions for the classification, general index requirements, mortar performance, concrete performance, and other aspects of solid polycarboxylate water reducing agents. At the same time, it also provides corresponding specifications for test methods, inspection rules, product packaging, and instructions.
