Wuhan Erqi Yangtze River Bridge

Wuhan Erqi Yangtze River Bridge starts from Xinjiang'an District of Wutie District, Jiang'an District in the north, and ends at Luojiagang, Gangdu Garden, Qingshan District in the south. Span composite beam cable-stayed bridge. The total length is about 6.5 kilometers, including 2922 meters of the main project of the Erqi Yangtze River Bridge and 3585 meters of the supporting project of cross-bank relief. The design reference period of the project is 100 years. It is an urban expressway, with a design speed of 80km/h, eight lanes in both directions, a bridge deck width of 29.5 meters, and an effective main bridge width of 28 meters. The bridge has a clear height of 24 meters and the designed highest navigable water level is 25.81 meters. The total investment of the project is estimated to be about 4.8 billion yuan. The planned construction period is 4 years. Construction started on August 1, 2008, and opened to traffic on December 31, 2011.
